Picnic facilities, a group shelter, and bathrooms are all abutting the trail system. The trails go through many different environments (beach, back dune, around a pond, bog, swamp and climax forest) in a relatively short distance making the trails a perfect environmental classroom. There is an active Interpretive Program at the park.
