There are benches at a couple of outlooks onto the head of Middle Bay. A side trail leads to the shore. The extensive mud flats and fringing salt marsh are significant feeding, resting and staging areas for migratory waterfowl and wading birds. Along the shore from the trail, a historic boathouse sits on pilings just below the high water mark. |
