There are bathroom facilities at the park. There is also payground equipment and picnic areas overlooking the Kennebec river. The route follows along the edge of the Kennebec river. Fishing is allowed from the trail.

Walk to the back of the park, past all the playground eqipment and there will be a path leading into the woods and out onto a penninsula.

Park at Oosoola Park. The parking is located at the end of the park road by the fence.

From Norridgeock take Route 2 west towards Skowhegan. Oosoola Park is about 1/4 mile out of town on your left. If coming from Skowhegan it is right before you get to the town of Norridgeock.

Walking directions for following the route:
Follow the trail to the end. It takes you out on a point where you are surrounded by the Kennebec river and the mill stream.
