Take Route 189 into Lubec. After 9.6 miles turn onto South Lubec Road.(sign posted to Quoddy Head State Park) Travel 2.7 miles to South Lubec Road to the fork. Bear right at the fork and continue for 4.3 miles. Boot Head Preserve is located on the left. If you are coming from Cutler, travel north on Route 191 for 11.5 miles to Boot Cove Road. Continue on this road for 2 miles and the parking lot will be located on the right.
