| Indoor Walking Route Guidelines:
Healthy Maine Walks
provides information about walking routes in the State where
the opportunity exists for Mainers to take part in physical
exercise and the enjoyment of a healthy, active lifestyle.
The Healthy Maine Walks Web site will give walkers knowledge
of the routes available in their communities and elsewhere.
While Maine offers many opportunities
year-round for fun and healthy outdoor activity, there are
times when people would prefer to walk indoors in a setting
that offers lighting, climate control, and firm footing.
This section focuses on indoor walking routes.
